Please sponsor Jerry Walter’s participation in the 38th annual senator Dick Allen Lansing to Mackinaw (DALMAC) bicycle tour, a 5-day (August 27-31, 2008), 338 mile bicycle ride from East Lansing, MI to Mackinaw City, MI. Suggested individual sponsor donations are $50.00 to $500.00 but any amount is greatly appreciated.

Despite having Fabry disease which often makes daily life difficult and while still recovering from bacterial meningitis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, surgery to repair holes in the protective covering of his brain, and having a cardiac defibrillator implanted all in November of 2007, Jerry says he can do it! He can endure the pain of the ride for a good reason, and this is a very good reason.
You can also help as a representative of the Fabry disease community!
Jerry, the NFDF, and the Fabry disease community needs you. Even if you are unable to make a donation yourself, you can play an important role in making this important event a huge success for individuals with Fabry disease and their families.

There is also a document that you can print to enable you to put your contact information along side of the flyer that identifies you as a NFDF volunteer.
