Express yourself - write an original poem
Challenge your creative spirit to express your thoughts and feelings in a poem. Share your experiences, challenges, fears, hopes, dreams, successes about life with Fabry disease in your own personal way. Write about having the disease or write about having a mother, father, spouse, child, friend, patient, client, or acquaintence regarding Fabry disease.
You don't have to be an artist or poet. Step away from your normal activities and reach inside yourself. Take a moment to smell the roses or touch a thorn. Do something that perhaps you've never done - write a poem.
We'll post the poems you submit to this section of the website. Are your thoughts and feelings about the tragedy of Fabry disease or about the blessings we reveal along the way as we deal with this disease. Your poem make make others smile, laugh, cry, find comfort, or just know they are not alone.
Send your poem(s) to jerry.walter@TheNFDF.org. We look forward to hearing from you.
