Jerry Walter is the Founder, President, CEO, and the first Chair of the NFDF Board of Directors. Jerry is pending a medical retirement from being a Colonel in the Army managing a multi-million dollar nationwide environmental management program. He now works part-time and volunteers for the NFDF. He has over 26 years of management experience with 23 years of active duty military service. His general management experience is supported by a strong background in financial management and strategic planning. Jerry has a Bachelor's degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Policy and a Master's degree in Administration. He is one of several family members with Fabry disease.
