Michael Campbell ... another one of our own lost to Fabry disease

It is with great sadness that we have once again lost a member of the Fabry disease community at a tragically young age.

On July 25, 2008, Michael Campbell, age 44, passed away in his home in Valentine Virginia.  Michael was within days of heart surgery that would allow him to proceed with a long awaited and desperately needed kidney transplant.  Michael was a man of great strength and perseverance.  He fought hard to the very end.

Michael will forever be in our thoughts and prayers.
