About the NFDF's vision:
The thousands of people affected by Fabry disease are subject to a diminished quality of life and to a shortened life-span due to the many life-altering and life-threatening complications of this multi-system genetic disorder.
Fulfilling the NFDF's vision requires us to go far beyond current disease management and treatment options, and ongoing research successes. It requires further research to ensure discovery of the revolutionary breakthroughs that will allow repair of the defective Fabry gene and subsequent eradication of the disease.
