If I wasn't me?

       I wonder who I'd be ... if I wasn't me?

       Would I be a lion-tamer or a movie star?
       or would I just still wonder who I'd be ... if I wasn't me?

       Would I be a wealthy person with lots of precious things?
       or would I just still wonder how rich I'd be ... if I wasn't me?

       Would I own a bigger house with a bigger yard?
       or would I still just wonder where I'd live ... if I wasn't me?

       Would I have a special gift to give or win a Nobel prize?
       or would I still just wonder what I'd do ... if I wasn't me?

       Would I be more wise and helpful to those in greater need?
       or would I just still wonder how I'd help ... if I wasn't me?

       Would I be more healthy and free from my disease?
       or would I just still wonder why ... if I wasn't me?

       Would I be a different person if nothing was the same?
       or would I just still wonder why I like just who I am
       ... if I wasn't me.
